What is usage or bandwidth?
Usage or bandwidth is the amount of visitors which can view your webpage in a month.

Web space is the actual amount of data and files which can be placed on your site
What is a sub domain?
A sub domain is a memorable location. For example http://www.mydomain.com/mysite/mypage/page.php can be pointed to http://mypage.mydomain.com Forever Hosting can provide sub domains to customers who do not currently have a domain
What is FTP and anonymous FTP?
FTP is the service or protocol for uploading a webpage to the internet and is the most quickest method. FTP also allows files to be viewed and edited. Anonymous FTP allows users to access directories of your choice without a using a specific username and password - ideal for sharing files.
What is a parked domain?
A parked domain allows different domains to be pointed to a single domain. For example if you owned 123.com and 123.org, however 123.co.uk was your main domain, a parked domain would allow both 123.com and 123.org to point 123.co.uk
What is a add-on domain?
An add-on domain is a domain name which points to a directory within your account. This will allow you to host multiple sites within one account.
What is MySQL database?
MySQL is a relational database, using SQL, which enables data to be stored and read in a user interface. MySQL can be used for many database scripts such as forms, guest books, forums etc. Most fantastico scripts require MySQL. Forever Hosting provides PHPMyAdmin which allows MySQL data to be managed in a easy to use interface

Yes, this process can be carried out for free for a limited time. Please sign up with an account and open a support ticket.
How much will I receive if my site goes down?
If we do not meet your 99.9% uptime then the following credit will apply:
99.5 - 99.89 = 70% service credit
99.0 - 99.49 = 80% service credit
98 - 99 = 90% service credit
97.99 - 95.00 = 100% service credit
Do you offer SSH access?
We do not provide SSH due to security reasons
Do you provide shared SSL?
No sorry, however we provide competitive GeoTrust SSL certificates. More details can be found here
What is provided with my free SSL?
Certain accounts come with a free dedicate SSL. This SSL is RapidSSL (128bit encryption) from GeoTrust and comes with a free site seal. Please note that you must purchase a dedicated IP in order to use this. A dedicated IP costs £2.00 per a month or £19.00 per a year
Do you have any RAM and CPU limitations?
We have no set limits on RAM and CPU, however we do expect our customers to respect other users and be fair and considerate with what they use
What forms of payment do you accept?
We except Master Card, Visa Electron, Visa Delta and Visa credit card
How long will it take for my account to become active after payment?
Account activation in most cases is instant after payment, however please allow 5-7 days for free UK domains to be set up and active
Can I purchase additional web space and bandwidth?
Customers will be required to upgrade to the next package if they exceed their usage, however if they are on platinum package then additional usage is charged at the following rates:
Web space - £0.50/500mb
Bandwidth - £1.00/1GB
For larger amounts, we recommend the reseller packages which can be found from the resellers section
